I'm still unhappy with the direction the show is taking and the utter predictability of the storyline, but in terms of moving the plot forward and giving characters new directions to go into, "Faith" was a welcome return to form.

This review will be rather brief, as the general nature of the episode precluded any serious forward motion of the plot. It seems like a lot of stuff happened, but for an episode titled "Escape Velocity," the characters are pretty much in the same places they were at the beginning, or are more deeply entrenched in those places. I liked this episode much better than last week's, as it added some much-needed continuity nods and filled in the blanks to explain the characters' oftentimes odd actions, while ramping things up with some awesome new developments.
